If I shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or if I command locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence and plague among My people, and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.'"

Heavenly Father, You alone are holy. There is none like You, and we come before You now to worship You and bring You praise. We thank You for having a purpose set and a story written for this time, this season, in the United States of America. Father, we lift our leaders up to You - those who sit in seats of governance, in seats of authority, in seats of stewardship. Speak to their hearts and help them remember the posture of servant-heartedness with which they are called to lead. Be with the process of the upcoming elections, Jesus; pour Your Spirit out in the midst of every polling place, that Your children would stand in the gap as You call them to on behalf of the people and the gates of this nation. May Your will be done and Your Spirit poured out in every corner, through every heart whom You have called into relationship with You. We give You glory, Lord, according to the power of Your Name, the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
